New Audi Q8 e-tron: Improved efficiency, longer range and refined design

The Audi e-tron was the start of the premium manufacturer’s shift towards electric cars when it was launched in 2018. Since then, the model has set the standard in the luxury electric SUV segment. The new Audi Q8 e-tron builds on the success of the electric car pioneer. The successor offers an optimized drive concept, improved aerodynamics, higher charging performance, greater battery capacity and longer range. • Two body variants, SUV or Sportback, in three versions
  • Increased battery capacity, longer range and higher charging performance
  • Sharpened steering and more dynamic driving characteristics
  • Newly designed front and brand identity
  • Carbon dioxide-neutral production in Brussels, with an increased proportion of recycled material

Audi Q8 e-Tron 2023

Since the launch of the Audi e-tron about 4 years ago, and with 150,000 cars delivered, Audi is consistently following its electric roadmap. The electric car portfolio today consists of 8 models, which will have increased to over 20 models by 2026. In the same year, the transition to only launching fully electric models on the global market takes place.

In the interior of the Audi Q8 e-tron, recycled materials are used for insulation and damping as well as for carpets. A new anthracite colored technical material which is partly made up of recycled PET bottles is offered as a decorative insert.

With the S line equipment package, the sports seats are covered in artificial leather and the microfiber material Dinamica. Dinamica is made from up to 45 percent polyester fibers from recycled PET bottles, used textiles and fiber residues. Unlike previous microfibres, Dinamica is also solvent-free – another contribution to environmental protection.
